Yep… This is why Christians need to sharpen their swords.
Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word ofGod.
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges thethoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Do you know your Bible well enough to answer the questions that these people have about the Bible. They are trying to use their interpretation of the Bible against the true exegetical interpretation and if our swords are not sharp then they will succeed.
If we as Christians know that the Bible is true…
2 Timothy 3:16
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
Then we need to start sharpening our sword and understanding what the Bible says and why it says what it does.
We live in a world where Life and Death are trying to be muddled together. Right and Wrong become subjective and striving to seek Truth is viewed as being “intolerant” and “bigoted.” Humanism and Universalism are the direction we are going and where God is not, Death has it’s way.

We are called haters and we are hated. But that’s okay because they hated Jesus first and He has overcome.
The World Hates the Disciples
18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’[a] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me.22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. We still have an obligation as Christians to speak what is true, noble and right and to have these things on our hearts and minds.
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
Also, the Bible calls us to bring the Truth where lies prevail, and where lies prevail, the Deceiver dwells. This is Spiritual Warfare. Our enemy is not flesh and blood. Hate the sin and love the sinner Christians.
2 Corinthians 10:3-6
3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 6 And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.
This is why I sharpen my sword. This is why I am preparing for battle. Sharpening our sword involves not only reading but studying the word. I have read through the entire Bible and could not give the most concise and accurate answer to demolish the arguments set up in the video above. The arguments come from an interpretation of Scripture that is used against us. This is not the first time this has happened.
Jesus Is Tested in the Wilderness
4 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted[a] by the devil.2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’[b]”
5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6 “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:
“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’[c]”
7 Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’[d]”
8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

So like Jesus, our swords must be sharpened. In Jewish tradition the Jewish boys were taught to memorize the entire Torah, it was that important!
This is why I am taking a whole semester of college and studying the Bible and understanding specifically what it says about homosexuality. The goal of this study is to equip Christians like you all to respond to arguments like the ones found in this video.
Christians, how do you accept to stand a chance if your sword is dull. Sharpen your sword! Make WAR!
